The Children's House takes pride in being one of the largest child care centers in Washington, North Carolina.  Each of our eleven classrooms are equipped with materials to promote physical, developmental, social, emotional and cognitive needs of the children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years old.

The education obtained by the staff is utilized daily in the development of the curriculum.  Our teachers provide the children with educational activities that utilize the knowledge gained from higher education.  Along with education, teachers possess characteristics such as patience, empathy, and a natural instinct of caring for the whole child.

Our classrooms have developmentally appropriate materials that help the staff to facilitate specific learning objectives while creating a fun and inviting environment.  Parents are the foundation of our family orientated school which strengthens the support network of each and every child under our care.  All children are treated as special individuals with each child's needs being nurtured with top quality care.
